Dadnapped is a comedy about a young adult fiction author being kidnapped by superfans at a convention in an absurd small town and his daughter’s struggle to get him back. This is the main street of our Route-66-style, fictional town "Mercury". Here we added a third story, huge neon signage and facade details to the foreground "Merc" hotel, and a second story and signage to the background drugstore in this shot.
We added a huge amount of period signage and custom neon to this old main street. Here is a street detail and a goofy pizza delivery sign overwhelming the tiny car.
The dastardly hotel owner and the villain in our story, Merv (Jason Earles) has a Ratpack style swinging bachelor pad penthouse on the top floor of the "Merc" hotel.
The reverse of Merv's (Jason Earles) Penthouse stage set on top of the "Merc" hotel.
View towards the circular bed in Merv's (Jason Earles) Penthouse stage set on top of the "Merc" hotel.
One of the dozens of pieces of custom neon/signage we produced to make a more convincing Route 66 feel to our main street.
The huge welcome to sign Mercury spanned our main street.
A view of all the signage we built assembled in a studio for the purposes of a music video that was never shot.
