Buffalo Dreams

 We re-faced several buildings on an old main street to create a Santa Fe-style fictional, small New Mexico tourist town.

This picture shows a view of a waterfall landing-pool "cheat" we built to match an existing natural waterfall in the Uinta mountains. Our hero (Reiley McClendon) is supposed to jump off a ledge into a gorgeous pool below, but the existing one was only a few feet deep. So we draped this outdoor pool in black, built a two-sided rock wall set and partially submerged it, used huge pumps to roil the water, and recreated the existing rock ledge to shoot him jumping and landing from above, then cut that into the footage from the natural waterfall.
